5-7 Years (Kickoff)
Bentleigh United Cobras FC offers Kick-off Programs for boys and girls from Under 5 to Under 7 Years.

The focus of the Kick-off program is to introduce boys & girls to football (soccer).
​
Our Kick-off program is run on Saturdays by instructors qualified by the Football Federation of Australia (FFA).
​
Sessions consist of fun energy packed activities focused on building skills & confidence with the football.
​
Members of our Kick-off program receive an Aldi Kick-off pack and are invited to participate in club events including end of season celebration.
​
Families are encouraged to come along and try a session to meet our coaches and see if your child likes it before signing up online.

Girls 8 - 16 Years
Bentleigh United Cobras FC is committed to increasing opportunities for girls and woment to participate in sport both in a social and competitive contexts.
.
We are constantly working to develop our programs and infrastructure to support participation by girls and women in all areas of football.
Whilst we allow girls to participate in mixed teams with boys and encourage girls-only teams to participate in the mixed competition to offer a higher level of development opportunities, we understand that for many girls this is not appealing.
As such our girls division offers

Cobras Academy skills development program.

community teams in girls-only competitions

social teams / training only groups.

PROGRAM:
Cobras Academy

Cobras Academy delivers focused skills sessions in addition to the team based training.
​
​
Development Teams
-
Development Teams are for players who are focused on developing their skills and are looking for a competitive environment to test themselves.

Development Teams have paid, qualified coaches and a structured development program.

Development Teams are filled via a trials process.
​
Community Teams
-
Community Teams are for players who are participating in football for the skills development, exercise and the friendships they make playing in a team.

Players who do not make Academy or Development Teams will be offered a spot in Community Teams.

Community Teams have volunteer parent coaches who receive Grassroots FV training and a foundation Cobras program to support them in delivering valuable sessions.

Social Training

Available if sufficient numbers of an appropriate level can form a Social Training Squad.or players may be invited to join a Community Team in a Train Only capacity.
